Prompt Licensing Overview — Photo Booth FX (PBFX)
Last updated: September 8, 2025
This page summarizes how you may use PBFX prompts, presets, templates, and FX configurations (“PBFX Files”) and what’s off-limits. It’s a quick reference only; the Terms of Use, Terms of Sale, and Digital Goods & Licensing Disclosure control if anything conflicts.

1) The license in one paragraph
When you purchase a PBFX item, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the PBFX Files on devices you control to create unlimited outputs for your own business and for end clients. You own the outputs you create (subject to third-party rights and platform/model terms). PBFX retains all rights to the PBFX Files themselves. Licenses are per creator (“seat”) and worldwide. Unless stated otherwise on the product page, licenses are perpetual for the version you bought.
2) What you can do (allowed)
Create unlimited outputs (images, composites, renders) for you and your paying clients.
Use outputs commercially in print, web, ads, social, merch mockups, event deliverables, portfolios, and pitch decks.
Edit outputs (crop, color, retouch, composite) and combine with other assets you own or license.
Install PBFX Files on your own devices/accounts for your business operations.
Hire contractors to edit outputs you made (contractor does not use PBFX Files unless they hold their own license).
Keep backups of the PBFX Files for your own use.
Attribution is not required. If you credit, please reference Photo Booth FX (PBFX).
3) What you cannot do (prohibited)
Resell, share, gift, or include PBFX Files in any pack, library, or course.
Reverse engineer or attempt to reconstruct PBFX prompts or internal logic from outputs or metadata.
Use PBFX Files or outputs for AI model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, fingerprinting, embeddings, or dataset creation.
Transfer or sublicense your license to another person, studio, client, or vendor.
Use on unsupported platforms/models (must match the product’s listed software/FX option).
Remove or hide license notices or claim the PBFX Files as your own original prompts.
Breach may result in license termination and other remedies.
4) Seats, teams, and studios
Single license = 1 creator seat. One human actively using PBFX Files.
Teams/agencies: Buy one seat per creator who uses PBFX Files.
Clients: Clients may receive outputs you create for them, but not the PBFX Files. If a client needs direct access, they must purchase their own license from PBFX.
For multi-seat or enterprise needs, email partners@pbfx.ai.
5) Platform & compatibility
Each product lists the supported software/model/FX option (e.g., PersonaFX, specific generator, or version). Use outside those scopes is not permitted and is ineligible for support or store credit. If the underlying third-party model changes, minor style shifts may occur (see Disclosures).
6) Exclusivity (if offered)
Most PBFX licenses are non-exclusive. If an item offers exclusive or limited rights, the product page will state scope, term, and any store-removal commitments. Exclusivity requires a separate written agreement.
7) “Who owns what?”
PBFX owns: the PBFX Files (prompts, presets, templates, docs) and all related IP.
You/your client own: the outputs you create, subject to third-party rights (e.g., logos, likeness) and platform/model terms you use.
8) Logos, text, and model variance (important)
Generative AI is not face swap and is non-deterministic. Output may vary slightly across renders and guests; logos/text may not render perfectly 100% of the time. These behaviors are model-level and do not indicate a PBFX prompt defect. See Website Disclosures & Disclaimers and Returns & Refunds for details.
9) Common scenarios (quick answers)
Can my editor use the PBFX Files? Only if they have their own PBFX license. They can edit outputs without a license.
Can I give my client the PBFX Files? No. Provide outputs only.
Can I use outputs in ads for my booth business? Yes.
Can I sell outputs as stock? Generally yes if you have all necessary third-party permissions and the platform/model terms permit it. PBFX does not grant rights to others’ IP (e.g., brand logos).
Multiple devices? Yes, as long as they are controlled by the licensed creator.
Updates? If updates are included, you’ll get them for that product/term; otherwise, new versions may be sold separately.
10) Simple clause you can paste into your client contract (optional)
PBFX Prompt Tools. Creative effects used in this project are powered by licensed PBFX prompts/presets/templates owned by Photo Booth FX (“PBFX”). The client receives the final outputs only. PBFX source files and prompt logic are not transferred, and may not be reverse-engineered, shared, or used to train AI models. For details, see PBFX’s Prompt Licensing Overview at pbfx.ai.
11) Enforcement & reporting
We protect our community and IP with technical measures and license tracking. If you discover unauthorized sharing or resale of PBFX Files, report it to partners@pbfx.ai.
