This isn’t one vendor’s flaw. It’s a multi-platform reality driven by prompt structure, safety language, and how we test.

That loop is the work. When I build group prompts, I plan 10–20 hours because prompts are living systems—they need debugging and repetition before they’re event-grade.

My stress-test protocol (never with real children)

  • I generate a synthetic “model family” (adult, teen, child; mixed genders and cultural identities).

  • I run the same prompt many times, hunting for hallucinations.

  • If anything questionable appears—misgendering, childlike figures with adult features, body distortions—I fix it before it ever touches a live event.

Translated: if an AI photo renders something inappropriate during your activation and a client escalates, you are holding the bag on reputation—and possibly more.

Safety is a practice, not a checkbox

Most platforms hand you:

  • A blank prompt box

  • A “we’re not responsible” disclaimer

  • A “good luck” PDF

You deserve better. That’s why user education matters. In my shop, stress testing protects you, your clients, and their guests—especially families.

Negative-prompt strategy (without giving away the sauce)

  • Order matters. Put the highest-priority safety terms first (e.g., nudity, explicit anatomy terms, NSFW, age-safety language, body-distortion blockers). Engines can truncate long lists; don’t bury the guardrails.

  • Use unifying wardrobe language for groups: “coordinated outfits,” “blazers and slacks,” “semi-formal cohesive palette.” Hard gender splits (e.g., “men wear X, women wear Y”) increase misgendering risk.

  • Don’t micromanage hair. Over-specific hair directives spiral. Prefer “clean silhouettes,” “face visibility,” and “de-frizz bias” over exact styles.

  • Bias to stability. Emphasize composition (eye visibility, shoulder alignment), lighting (“soft, even, frontal key”), and occlusion handling.

Templates are starting points, not shortcuts. Every event, theme, and audience shifts the risk profile.

When to regenerate vs. retake vs. halt

  • Regenerate a glitched AI render if the capture is fine but the effect hallucinated.

  • Retake if the underlying capture is unusable (heavy occlusion, motion blur).

  • Halt & review if multiple unsafe outputs appear—treat it as a system issue, not a fluke.

Pre-event safety checklist (copy/paste)

  • Synthetic family stress test completed (no real kids used)

  • Negative/guardrail terms prioritized at the top of the list

  • Group language uses cohesive wardrobe terms, avoids hard gender splits

  • Lighting and composition rules stabilize faces across heights/skin tones

  • Regeneration/rollback plan in place (and credits available)

  • On-site operator knows escalation steps if an unsafe output appears

  • Client brief includes privacy stance and clear no-retrain default

Why 10–20 hours for a group effect?
Because you’re engineering behavior under messy, real-world conditions. Stability takes iterations.

Can’t we just use your exact negative list?
