Returns & Refunds — Photo Booth FX (“PBFX”)

Short version:
No returns. No refunds.
If you follow our instructions exactly and still have issues, we may grant store credit (discount code) equal to the amount paid after review.
Store credit can be used only on pre-set products (not custom work), even if the order you’re disputing was a custom job.

1) Scope
This policy applies to all PBFX digital products (prompts, presets, templates, FX configurations, downloadable guides) and any custom work unless a written agreement states otherwise. Physical merchandise (if any) is handled separately.
2) No Returns, No Refunds
Because access to digital content is delivered immediately, all sales are final and non-refundable. There are no returns on digital goods or custom services.
Where local law requires a specific right (e.g., EU/UK digital-content rules), see our Returns / Right of Withdrawal (EU/UK) page. In those regions, once you consent to immediate delivery, you acknowledge you lose the right to withdraw.
3) Store Credit (Discount Code) — Case-by-Case
If you believe a PBFX pre-set or custom configuration did not perform as described despite full compliance with our directions, you may request store credit equal to the dollar amount paid. Store credit is not cash and:
May be applied only to PBFX pre-set products.
Cannot be used for custom work, subscriptions, or services.
Is single-use, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash.
May have an expiration date noted on the code.
Cannot be combined with other discounts unless we state otherwise.
Eligibility requirements
All of the following must be met:
Followed directions exactly. You implemented the prompt/FX as provided, with no edits or omissions.
Correct platform/FX variant. You used the product only with the supported software/model/FX option listed on the product page (e.g., PersonaFX vs. another platform).
No prompt modification. You did not alter the PBFX prompt logic, weights, or negative-prompt stack.
Regeneration attempts. You attempted to regenerate images at least three (3) times per variation to account for model variance.
Evidence submitted. You provide a link to your event gallery (or sample set) plus screenshots of your exact settings/loadout used.
How to request store credit
Email partners@pbfx.ai within 14 days of purchase (or event date, whichever is later) with:
Order number and product name
Software/model and FX option used
Confirmation that you did not modify the prompt
A link to your gallery (or at least 12 sample outputs)
Screenshots of settings / install path / version numbers
A short description of the issue and the steps you took
We will review and, if eligible, issue a discount code for the purchase amount. PBFX may deny requests that lack required evidence, show prompt edits, or demonstrate wrong-platform use.
Note: Even when the order under review was custom work, any approved store credit will still be usable only on pre-set products.
4) Generative AI Disclaimer (Important)
Generative AI is not face swap. PBFX products are prompted generative effects, not deterministic replacements of one face with another.
Non-determinism: Generative models produce slightly different outputs on each render and between guests.
Logos & text: Logos, typography, and fine text may not render perfectly 100% of the time. Minor distortions or letter substitutions are model-level behavior, not a PBFX prompt defect.
Model deviations: Style or detail drift can occur due to upstream model updates, rate-limits, or platform changes that PBFX does not control.
Regenerate first: Many issues resolve by regenerating or running a small test batch. That’s why regeneration attempts are part of store-credit eligibility.
By purchasing, you acknowledge these inherent model limitations and agree that PBFX is not responsible for model-level variance or third-party service changes.
5) Compatibility & Directions
Each product page lists supported software/models/FX options and setup steps. Using the wrong platform, an unsupported model, or omitting steps (negative-prompt stack, sampler, CFG, tiling/crop, aspect, lighting) voids eligibility for store credit.
6) Fraud & Abuse Safeguards
PBFX may fingerprint downloads, watermark documentation, and rate-limit links to protect our IP and community. We may decline or revoke store credit and deactivate discount codes if we detect abuse (e.g., sharing source files, reposting prompts, or filing chargebacks after receiving credit).
7) Chargebacks
Please contact us first; most issues are resolvable via settings review and regeneration. Filing a chargeback on a valid delivery may result in license revocation and account restrictions per our Terms of Sale.
